ABOUT ADAPT;
Adapt is a free-form multi-animal literate role playing game. It features fantastic creatures with mutations and a little touch of magic! All animals are welcome, from domestic cats to hybrids born of your imagination!
In the beginning there was fire and ice. Both of these entities had a soul, had a meaning, had a purpose, had each other. These two entities did not fit together but were meant to be together and so was born the strife of this world. A push and a pull. A dynamic way of being that was hard for the first born and yet over the generations the people of this world learned that In order to survive they must adapt. This was a simple concept but as you might know all things are easier said then they are done.
Skel'emi. This world, our world, was born of two entities and from those two, others were wrought. The shapes, sizes and purposes of these others were varied and as different as you and I but they were whole and alive and with some time they would flourish. This land was not made without strife however. It is said in the first book that in the wake of fire and ice there was made shadow and within this shadow there breathed a life force made of conflict. However it came to be this life force has taken comfort within our lands, lands left for us to use and guide as we see fit, however none of this may happen while it still lingers.
We have protected our capital and it is from here that we must band together and defeat that which plagues us. As they often say, united we stand and separated we fall, this is no more true then now. Our creators have long since gone, sleeping in some far off place but they have not left us unarmed, offering our lands some protection from these shadowed forces. Through fire we gain strength and through ice we gain wisdom. How we use these to help us is not up to us but it is becoming increasingly clear that we must use them somehow.
Come join us on our new start in a fantastic world over 3 years old!
